The Excel London is now known as NHS Nightingale and has been turned into a hospital for up to 4,000 patients, most of whom will be on ventilators. There are also several similar venues being built and used in cities across the country (including Westpoint in Exeter).๐Ÿฅ

On 5th April The Queen addressed the nation at 8pm ๐Ÿ‘‘ (only the 5th time she has done this, outside of her annual Christmas message).

There is a huge shortage of personal protective equipment (PPE), masks, ๐Ÿ˜ท gowns ๐Ÿฅผ and gloves ๐Ÿงค for our front-line essential health workers.

There is a shortage of ventilators for the critically ill, ๐Ÿค’ in many parts of the world.

On the news, we see refrigerated trucks for the dead, outside hospitals in the USA ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ Italy ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡น Spain ๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ‡ธ and China ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ณ etc and we see the mass digging of graves.

Medical field workers ๐Ÿ‘ฉ๐Ÿปโ€โš•๏ธ are afraid to go home to their families ๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿ‘งโ€๐Ÿ‘ฆ

Every Thursday evening at 8pm we all stand outside our front doors and clap the NHS and Carers, to show our gratitude for what they are doing.๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿฝ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿฟ

Many people have rainbows visible ๐ŸŒˆ in the windows of their homes, as a way of spreading hope.

Why, you ask, do I write ๐Ÿ“ this status?

In the future it will show up in my memory ๐Ÿ’ญ feed. It will be an annual reminder that life is precious and not to take the things we dearly love for granted ๐Ÿ’•

We have so much! Be thankful. Be grateful ๐Ÿ˜Œ

Be kind to each other - love one another - support everyone ๐Ÿฅฐ๐ŸŒˆโค๏ธ

We are one! โค๐Ÿงก๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’œ๐ŸคŽ๐Ÿ–ค๐Ÿค
